ASI5111

The ASI5111 is an entry-level professional PCI audio adapter designed for use in radio broadcast production and offering an impressive range of features.

With four playback streams, mixed to a balanced analog and a digital output, the ASI5111 is perfect for many web broadcasters, or fully automated satellite stations where no additional cue or audition output is required.

There is also one standard analog record stream, and a second record stream for digital inputs too. Both these Line Inputs can be fed back through to the output (ideal for satellite fed stations).

Also included is a microphone input, with low noise pre-amp and a 48V phantom supply complete with Limiter / Compressor and Graphic Equalizer. This makes the ASI5111 card a good choice for adding voice-track recording / audition to an existing Simian radio automation system.

Although the ASI5111 is designed for Linear .wav files, the card is able to use third party codecs (Windows ACM type) to decompress MPEG Layer 2 or MP3 format audio files to playback compressed audio files.
