USB 1024LS

Formerly known as the PMD 1024LS, the USB 1024LS is identical in specification and has has replaced the original ISA and PCI cards from Measurement Computing and Computerboards which were more prone to static / lightning damage.

The BSI USB Trigger Kit continues to use the familiar Instacal setup utility and is fully USB plug and play compliant and very easy to use. It obtains all required power from the computer's USB port, so no external power connection is ever required (current consumption is extremely low).

Simian*, SkimmerPlus and WaveCart 4.0 automatically scan the 24 inputs and will respond as directed when an incoming contact closure (trigger) is detected.

At 3.25 inches wide by 3.125 inches long by 1 inch high, the BSI Trigger Kit is large enough to make wiring easy, yet small enough to fit in even the most crowded rack space! Magnetic and Velcro mounting options along with a .225 inch attachment hole make mounting easy even in unconventional installations.

(We've seen these 'nailed' and 'screwed' to wooden wall mountings, but the attachment hole can be used by a more conventional cable tie, lock or padlock in applications where unit security must be considered.)

* Please note that the USB Trigger Kit is NOT suitable for WaveCart 3.0 or below which only supports the older ISA / PCI cards, or Joystick interface; nor for versions of Simian below 1.7.
