operational fixes and improvements. Upgrade to this version is highly
recommended. Please follow BSI guidelines for upgrading, specifically please

NOTICE: This version contains substantial changes in
internal operating code. We have thoroughly tested it, however because of the
great number of changes, unknown operational bugs may have been introduced.
Before implementing this upgrade, backup your previous WSTATION.EXE file so that
you may return to it if necessary.
- Implemented BSI SoundHound applet. This taskbar application replaces the
internal Update Audio Database function within WaveStation and WaveCart. It
is much faster and uses far less system resources. Auto launch and exit
functions for SoundHound are in the OPTIONS/PLAYBACK window.

operation instructions. WebConnect can execute BSI Macros. Auto launch and
exit functions for WebConnect are in the OPTIONS/INTERNET window. The
included version of WebConnect is a Pre-Release BETA and will expire on June
30, 1999.
- Implemented notification of log errors via email. Settings are in the
OPTIONS/INTERNET window.
- Added "Fade Last Deck At Segue" behavior. Selectable in
OPTIONS/PLAYBACK window. Causes last deck to fade out when segue point is
reached. (Wish List - WaveStation Weekend Class / May 1999)
- Added support for ID3v2 tagging for MP3 files.
- Added Serial macro variables for Advertiser/Artist (%ARTIST%) and
Description (%DESC%). Useful to send Artist and Description information to

internal operating code. We have thoroughly tested it, however because of the
great number of changes, unknown operational bugs may have been introduced.
Before implementing this upgrade, backup your previous WSTATION.EXE file so that

- Optimized entire codebase for additional speed.
- Added DirectSound support for audio playback. Caution
should be used when attempting multiple DS playback of compressed files.
This can easily overwhelm your CPU and lead to system shutdown.
