Description
The ASI6744 is a professional PCI-Express sound card designed for use in radio broadcast automation. Providing 12 play streams that are mixed to 4 balanced stereo outputs and 8 record streams fed from four balanced stereo inputs, the ASI6744 features AudioScience’s unique “anything to anywhere” mixing and routing.
The ASI6744 provides both balanced analog and AES/EBU inputs and outputs. The maximum analog input and output level is +24dBu.
A choice of uncompressed PCM, MPEG layer 2 and MP3 is available for both recording and playback. All compression is handled by an on-board floating point DSP, allowing the host computer to focus on other tasks.
ASI6744 functionality includes MRX multi-rate mixing technology which allows streams of different sample-rates and formats to be mixed digitally. TSX time scaling allows compression/expansion of any or all playback streams in real time with no change in pitch.
For emerging surround sound applications, SSX mode allows multichannel streams of up to 8 channels to be played, recorded and mixed

NOTE: While the audio card supports Dolby AC2, BSI software does not currently support this format. Additionally, MP3 record is only supported in Simian 1.7 and above when used with the legacy audio engine.
Return Policies
30 Day Warranty Against Manufacturer Defect
Broadcast Software International offers a 30-day warranty on all hardware items against manufacturer defect. Individual manufacturers may offer a longer warranty through them directly. This 30-day warranty will not cover lightning damage or end user damage.
7 Day Returns on Software and Unused support plans.
BSI offers a 7-day refund on software and unused support plans from the date of purchase. If you have already received a validation code on your software, you must have your software uninstalled by our tech support department before a refund can be issued. Unused support plans are plans that have not received upgrade validation codes or technical support via the phone or internet. Broadcast Software International will not issue a credit for any support plans that have been used for technical support by telephone or internet.
15 Day return policy on unopened hardware items.
All hardware must be unopened and in the original packaging. No refunds will be issued on opened hardware. A 20% restocking fee is standard on all unopened hardware.
